Roles & Responsibilities:

FUNCTION SUMMARY

As a Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for the all Thalias Brands to achieve sales goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a well-defined company marketing and sales strategy that aligns with our organizational goals. This includes pricing and guest/customers service policies; advertising programs.
  • Develop marketing action plans that clearly define objectives, goals, schedules, and assignments to implement and achieve targeted opportunities
  • Develop a plan and supporting policies and procedures to provide for smooth functioning of the Sales and Marketing department, including in some case customer order processing, and that provide for measuring key performance indicators.
  • Supervise a staff of sales people and guest-relation or customer services representatives who implement that plan.
  • Carry out a program for market research and analysis, including market segments, buying trends and competitor analysis.
  • Provide recommendations for improving or adding new product designs and assists with product development and testing.
  • Maintains relationships with advertising agencies, public relations firms and market research firms.
  • Oversees and verifies reporting of sales and marketing activities, including leads generated and tracking reports, sales orders received, sales by product, backlog reports and customer lists and determines appropriate reporting frequency (i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly)
  • Set clear, periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) Sales and Marketing goals and objectives.
  • Put in place the resources, systems (including information management), and staff to necessary to successfully complete the sales and marketing mission and to accomplish weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least Bachelor degree in Sales/Marketing, Business or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 year experience in the same role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and implement new strategies.
  • Strong in planning, directing, organizing and administration of all Sales & Marketing operations
  • Strong ability to design and implement annual business plan and budget.
  • Good understanding of the current market trends, Chinese market, and social media.
  • Excellent communication in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
  • Knowledge of French would be an advantage.
