- Assist Check Out Manager to manage customer services at reception desk
- Display a high level of Customer Service at all times; listen carefully, answer inquiries, provide store directions, and handle issues with a sense of urgency
- Greet the customers with a warm smile and greeting, making eye contact
- Ensure that every phone call is answered by reception staff with the right service level
- Assist customers to fill in membership application form, inform customers about membership requirements, and issues cards with efficiency
- Ensure that customers understand clearly about Makro’s policies
- Ensure that all visiting customers are Makro’s members and solve any problems about member cards
- Prepare Makro Mails for any customers who do not receive and solve distribution issues
- Receive customer complaints, prepare documentation with signature, and propose to CDM for problem solving
- Monitor and ensure that returned merchandises of customers follow by regulation
- Report fraud and related issues with Check Out Manager, ASGM
- Monitor outstanding balance of return cash and revolving cash on daily basis
- Verify correctness of Loyalty Campaigns and cash coupons
- Issue tax invoices with efficiency
- Handle Bag Deposit services
- Handle merchandise repair by vendor according to company policy, preparing documentation for merchandise “In and Out”
- Handle VAT refund for foreigner
- Handle in-store announcing, including paging, news, and information about sales promotions
- Prepare record in logbook for customer’s lost and found items
- Provide receipt of fine payment regarding loss of Car Park ticket by customer
- Ensures board for Makro Mail promotion is kept current in front of the store
- Handle returned merchandises by credit cards, Aeon card, or First Choice card to comply with company’s policies
- Monitor cleanliness and safety of operation area, and maintain tools and equipments to be in good working condition
- Performs any other tasks not specified herewith as assigned
Job Requirements:
Education and/or Job Experience Requirements
- High school or diploma (management or related field)
- At least 1 to 2 years experience, preferably in customer service field
- Be able to work at weekend
